Love at Last Sight review

This book is great for exactly what the subtitle says - growing and deepening closest relationships.  The personal sharing and stories are great reading. The chapter ending journal/discussion prompts would be great for counseling or mentoring. I’d love to discuss this with a girlfriend in a mentoring situation or with my husband in an enrichment retreat, but that is it. I was looking for Bible study material and it won’t work for that - not enough Bible basis.  Small Group or Personal Use NOT Church Campaign or Bible Study

A Different War of the Worlds

The doctrine of the Kingdom of Heaven, which was one of the main teachings of Jesus, is certainly one of the most revolutionary doctrines that ever stirred and changed human thought.   — H. G. Wells

Does this shed a new light on any of his writings?

The world rings changes, it is never constant but in its disappointments. The world is but a great inn, where we are to stay a night or two, and be gone; what madness is it so to set our heart upon our inn, as to forget our home?  — Thomas Watson
